COR Wellness

Our Why

A letter from the CEO

Part of my WHY comes from spending more than 20 years in Human Resources and executive management. Throughout, I’ve experienced many ups and downs with people and businesses, which has brought me here. For over 10 of those years, I was a GE corporate leader in 3 of their major businesses. I led HR for teams in 24 countries. I have also started 3 businesses: Curtin Professional Search, Cultivate, and now COR Wellness. I am most proud of COR because it is driven by my WHY. It’s a result of all of my personal and business experiences with people, and I’m driven to provide something impactful for leaders and those looking to live their best lives.

My personal WHY goes deep. I was born with a disability and I overcame it with multiple surgeries, a compassionate mother, and a tough father. I understand the value of my health and my limitations.  I’ve worked very hard to make every day healthier than the day before. I know through my personal and professional experience, that many people are living at 60% and probably don’t realize it. Our employee data backs this up.

Many businesses out there are focusing on big targets but don’t understand their people are operating at 60%. Their people want to be successful but are running on empty due to work or personal lives.  It takes smarts and money to drive success, but you reach it with your people. Over the last 7 years, I have been pouring my heart and soul – my Why – into proving that the primary business strategy is to improve the well-being of your talent and that sets the stage for maximizing results. When you do that, meeting your goals is much easier.

My business partner and COO of COR, Andy, spent the early part of his career in tech and business consulting for Fortune 500 companies and start-ups. Over the last 15 years, he pivoted to improving healthcare delivery and population health at some of the largest health systems in the US.

At COR, Andy leverages his knowledge, experience to identify improvements. He can look at the spectrum of organizational functions, from finance to operations, and break that down into strategic decisions to make your organizational goals a reality. Most recently he received his Master’s in Health Administration to design and deliver innovative health and wellness solutions. These solutions maximize benefits and value for you, our COR clients.

It is my strength and my passion to improve performance and make the world better for your employees through our individualized, high-touch programming. Through this, I am committed and excited to ensure you are achieving your organizational goals.
